Colorado Gives Day Corporate Challenge 2023 Case Study

Challenge Accepted

Approaching the second year of its newly formed initiative, Colorado Gives Foundation (CGF) looked to grow the participation and awareness of the Colorado Gives Day Corporate Challenge, presented by Delta Dental. CGF sought our expertise to generate unique corporate leads, increase the fundraising total compared to 2022, and utilize the Delta Dental Match funds of $100K.

Solution Proposed

Strat Labs and Colorado Gives Foundation built upon last year’s success of the Corporate Challenge program by implementing outreach, engagement, and stewardship with organizations to incentivize employee giving, building of customized giving pages, and giving back to local Colorado nonprofits. By utilizing strong supporters, such as Delta Dental, Strat Labs, and CGF inspired other businesses to set up and commit to fundraising through the CGF platform.

To garner unique leads and raise awareness, Strat Labs conducted research on various Chambers of Commerce across Colorado, identifying optimal partners for CGF to collaborate with. These strategic partnerships aimed to share information about the Corporate Challenge with their respective members, ultimately leading to CGF joining five Chambers of Commerce across the state and forming relationships with chamber leaders to inspire members to join the Corporate Challenge.

Strat Labs also strategically managed and implemented a social media strategy to share the Corporate Challenge with the general Colorado Community and incentivize giving through the Colorado Gives Foundation and Colorado Gives 365 accounts.

Problem Solved

From November 1 until Colorado Gives Day on December 5, Strat Labs played a pivotal role in the success and growth of the Colorado Gives Day Corporate Challenge:

  • Connected with 314 companies, with 128 of those connections raising $100+
