The MSHE Foundation is a young nonprofit with a small Northeast footprint. They needed a team to help expand their digital reach and awareness while collecting donations for Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day 2023) along the way.

Solution proposed

Strat Labs worked with MSHE Foundation assets to craft a unique Holocaust Remembrance Day Fundraising Campaign that highlighted their mission and encouraged donations via a social media fundraising campaign. We then asked influencers to share it on their stories resulting in a dramatic spike in engagement and donations. To continue the campaign’s momentum and maximize fundraising over the next week, Strat Labs repurposed content from a news feature to create a Yom HaShoah follow-up post and created a new Thank You post to wrap up the campaign. As a final follow up, Strat Labs sent private DMs on behalf of the Foundation to all “$50+” donors, thanking them for their donation and asking them to follow and support the Foundation.

Problem solved

During the week of Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day 2023), the MSHE Foundation:

  • Reached over 180k accounts
  • Raisied $8,782.97 – nearly 83% of total dollars raised by all MSHEF fundraisers to date
  • 4.2% increase in Instagram followers
  • 0.77% increase in Facebook followers
  • 10 new TikTok followers [started at 0]
