Startup of the Year Winner
We couldn’t create a Year in Review blog without mentioning our win of 2023 Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce Startup of the Year! On April 27, 2023, we were honored to receive this prestigious award. Our team had put in countless hours to get to this point. We want to express our deepest gratitude to the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce and to our clients, partners, and supporters – thank you for believing in us!
Client Work
As it is in the nature of who we are, we pushed boundaries this year, crafting innovative marketing campaigns that resonated with audiences on a deeper level. From a Times Square Billboard to a $75 million fundraising campaign, we were busy with client work in 2023. We helped organizations refine their stories, find their authentic voice, and connect with their communities in meaningful ways. We didn’t just talk about purpose – we lived and breathed it, injecting it into every project and partnership.
The Changemaker Collective
We released our first set of Changemaker Collective merch! The Changemaker Collective brings changemakers together into a community. We are a collective of like-minded people who not only see a brighter future on the horizon, but are taking the collective steps needed to help get us there. Speaking Engagements
With the help of Ironton Distillery, we put on a few events in 2023. First, in March, we hosted the Women Changemakers Panel featuring local experts making a difference in their industries. Then, later in September, we hosted the Future Changemakers Panel alongside GALS Denver.
We’ve also joined the community in spreading our knowledge. Our team spent time leading webinars on topics ranging from Reaching Donors on Social Media to Fundraising Outside of Personal Connections. Our CEO, Lizzy, had led a session at Denver Startup Week in yet another year.
Speaking of these events, if you haven’t signed up for the FREE Green Space is Gray virtual group lab session on January 17, we encourage you to sign up today! As a working session, attendees will have the unique opportunity to connect and network with like-minded individuals navigating the sustainability space.
Employee Spotlight and Agency Culture
We wouldn’t be who we are without our employees. Six new full-time employees joined Strat Labs in 2023. From a new Senior Vice President of Philanthropy to a Marketing and Philanthropy Coordinator, our team has changed tremendously this past year.
If you follow us on social media, you may have gotten a glimpse at our ever-developing agency culture. Our fantastic Senior Designer, Curry, has been creating custom cards for our team member’s birthdays. In between Happy Hours and Holiday Parties, our team has been busy both IN and OUT of the office. And we can’t forget our very own Account Manager, Andy, making the move from Denver, CO to Newport Beach, CA!
